Vacancy: Pre-Sales Consultant (40 hours/week)

The Pre-sales consultant is responsible for managing the technical support required during the sales phase. He will work in close collaboration with the sales & marketing and product team to act as a bridge between the prospect’s expectation in product suites and the internal team. He is also responsible to manage, build and develop the expectation that is capable of providing sales support making sure to join the envision and targets of the sales team.

Currently we are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant (40 hours per week) to join our team at Assai HQ.

Job description

The Pre-sales consultant is responsible for managing the technical support required during the sales phase. He will work in close collaboration with the sales & marketing and product team to act as a bridge between the prospect’s expectation in product suites and the internal team. He is also responsible to manage, build and develop the expectation that is capable of providing sales support making sure to join the envision and targets of the sales team.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing a mode of logging various (pre) sales activities;
  • Searching agreement on a platform or platforms that we will use to log the pre-selling activities done by the consultant;
  • Create tasks that are relevant to pre-sales and log/monitor them;
  • Coordination with project department for proposal creation;
  • Bring in standards to perform handover to project concerning prospects and new clients;
  • Coordination with design and developments: acting on requests for new requirements and developing them in the sales phase;
  • Supporting marketing: organizing briefing and documentation on product functionalities;
  • Manage technical sales support throughout lead development, qualification, pipeline management, forecasting, named account strategy & planning;
  • Training the sales team on product functionalities and maintain standard demo instances for the Account managers and BDM’s.;
  • Travel to client locations for sales and marketing support;

 Your profile

  • Bachelor’s 4 year Degree in Engineering or masters;
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in software to Oil & Gas- or adjacent industries;
  • Deep understanding of operational processes (project management, engineering, maintenance, process safety, QA);
  • Presentation skills;
  • Hands-on, self-starter, getting things done mentality;
  • Potential to develop towards a leadership position;
  • Excellent and fluent knowledge of the English language;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Vigorous and enthusiastic team player with a positive and proactive attitude;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, in teams and autonomously.

Additional Information

  • Work location is our office in Culemborg (the Netherlands).
