We are currently looking for a Sales Manager (40 hours per week) to join our team at Assai.

We are looking for

The Sales Manager is responsible for the success of Assai’s Sales department by achieving sales and profitability to our organization. The Sales Manager will be in charge of managing sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation.


  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and clients
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fill them
  • Meeting planned sales goals.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Build and maintaining client relations
  • Follow organizational policies and regulations that affect the Sales department
  • Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
  • Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
  • Be a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times
  • Assist in marketing activities such as trade shows, campaigns and other promotional activities.
  • Manage sales activities to generate revenue.
  • Analyse market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
  • Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
  • Preparing various overviews (financial proposals, outstanding proposals, requests to vendors).
  • Successfully handing over won projects to implementation team.
  • Working together with the customer success department on additional upsell opportunities


  • Technical Bachelors degree (Engineering); Masters is a plus;
  • At least 5-7 years of sales management (B2B, B2C);
  • Proven marketing, strategic, analytical and implementation skills;
  • Must possess a combination of strategic thinking and drive to achieve tangible business results;
  • Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills;
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities;
  • Ability to take initiative, work independent and highly proactive;
  • Eye for detail and analytical skills;
  • Strong (English) language skills, preferably native-speaking;
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking;
  • Experience working in an international organization;
  • Experience working with remote teams;
  • Creative communication skills;
  • Eager to learn and make sure that we have a strong cross-channel online presence;
  • Excellent at building positive relationships and team working.
