Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our teams and help guide our software development projects through the Agile Scrum framework. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in a Scrum Master role and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.

Assai is a rapidly growing organization with two Scrum teams. We are at the beginning of our Agile journey and are searching for a passionate Scrum Master that can help with this journey by leveraging previous experience and knowledge.

Your responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure that the team is adhering to the Scrum framework and maintaining a high level of productivity
• Help the team identify and remove blockers that may impede progress
• Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, communicating progress and addressing any concerns
• Coach team members, and the organization, on Agile and Scrum best practices
• Help the team to identify, track and deliver on the sprint goals and objectives.
• Ensure that team members are properly trained on Scrum principles and practices
• Contribute to Assai’s Agile journey by taking our Product Teams, and the organization, to the next level

Requirements

Must have

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Scrum Master certification (PSM II / CSM)
• Self-starter mentality with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Working experience in a Software Development company, as a Product Owner or Developer
• Experience as an Agile Coach
• Scaled Professional Scrum Experience/Certification (SPS)
• Experience with implementing, and working with SAFe
• Experience with Azure DevOps and tooling such as Miro
